AddieRose Mayer, de Boston, Massachusetts, se une a la campaña de Barack Obama en la ciudad de Nashua en Nuevo Hampshire. Visto que las encuestas mostraban que Obama ganaría en Massachusetts, muchos de ese estado hicieron campaña en el vecino estado de Nuevo Hamshire. Obama y su compañero de fórmula, el senador Joseph Biden, le ganaron a sus homólogos republicanos, John McCain y Sarah Palin, con 55 por ciento del voto.
